Last November 12, 2019 (Tuesday), QBO Philippines partnered with DOST-TOMASInno Center, for a leg of their University Roadshow powered by the Singapore Management University for the then upcoming Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition. The first event of the center was held at the 3rd Floor, Science Online Learning Environment, College of Science, Main Building, University of Santo Tomas.

The workshop included lectures about the basics of startups, design thinking, and a mini pitching competition, led by Ms. Karla Legaspi and Jackielyn Isip of QBO, and was attended by students representing the programs Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Computer Science of the Faculty of Engineering and the Institute of Information and Computing Sciences respectively.
